Have You Noticed Solaire Using Bruno Mars Lyrics in Its Ads?
We were just as curious, so we asked the resort about the inspiration behind the campaign.

If you’ve been stuck in traffic or scrolled through a feed, chances are, you’ve noticed ads sprawled across the on- and offline space quoting Bruno Mars lyrics like “Just the Way You Are” or “24K Magic.” As part of Solaire’s recent campaign, the lines appear alongside striking portraits of individuals, with no sign of the singer himself.

Curiosity about the campaign has been buzzing online, with some ads even appearing in South Korea. “But what do they mean? Is it because Bruno Mars loves going to the casino?” one TikTok user asked.
“There’s one ad in Solaire North with a huge burger in the middle,” another wrote on Threads. “Ano ba ang binebenta po natin, mamser????”
It’s a curious pairing that’s caught plenty of attention, so Preview asked Solaire what inspired it.
Solaire Resort on Its Bruno Mars-Inspired Campaign
According to the resort, the campaign is creatively inspired by the singer’s music and takes cues from the upbeat, confident tone of his songs. The goal, Solaire says, is to capture the same spirit of joy and sophistication that mirrors the upbeat, feel-good energy often found in the singer’s music.
Some of Solaire’s restaurants have joined in with limited-edition dishes and drinks that reference Bruno Mars’ hits, including his 2016 album 24K Magic. There’s the 24K Magic Golden Cocktail, an espresso martini blended with Irish coffee, the 24K Magic Golden Burger topped with edible gold, and the Just the Way You Are Taco, named after his 2010 hit.
The campaign also nods to Bruno’s “The Lazy Song” through themed stays like the Do Nothing Staycation and Do Nothing Family Weekender, which come with breakfast, dining credits, and spa perks.
Why Bruno Mars?
According to Lianne Garciano, Manager for Public Relations and Communications at Solaire Resort Entertainment City, the concept was shaped by the artist’s real-life connection to the resort.
“Bruno Mars has visited Solaire Resort twice, where he experienced firsthand the warm and vibrant Filipino hospitality that mirrors the energy of his music,” she shared in an email to Preview. “Drawing from those encounters, Solaire created a campaign that celebrates the same spirit of joy, connection, and sophistication that defines both Bruno and the resort.”

She added that the campaign “weaves select lines from his hit songs into its storytelling,” framing the lyrics as a bridge between music and Solaire and calling it a “tribute to Filipino culture,” as well as an invitation to experience the resort.
The campaign, according to the resort’s press release, is running until October 31 across Solaire Resort Entertainment City and Solaire Resort North.
