Who is Small Laude?
Born Marissa Eduardo, Small has a marriage more-than-two-decades strong with business tycoon Philip Laude, the scion of famous confectionary makers in the country. They started their love story through a mutual friend, and now have four children: Christopher, Michael, Timothy, and Allison.
Small isn’t a stranger to the heiress lifestyle pre-marriage, however, as her own family owns a roster of businesses, including garment exports, rice milling, and rice trading. Her older sisters Melba and Alice are business heads as well, with her Ate Alice being the founder and CEO of Sta. Elena Construction and Development Corporation. Their project list includes a number of notable large-scale properties in the country, such as SM Mall of Asia, SM Seaside Cebu, Solaire Resort and Casino, and City of Dreams.
