Sure, you can always shop and eat your way through Myeongdong, but if you want to spend your time doing something more enriching, then why not book a quick tour around Seoul's historic spots? Check out this fuss-free itinerary that will leave you enough time to shop and eat, with ample time to head back to the airport.

1. Start at the Changdeokgung Palace.

This palace is the second royal villa, which is the primary palace for many kings of the Joseon Dynasty. It features wide palace grounds and a 300-year-old gigantic tree, all of which make for the perfect backdrops to your OOTD.

2. Have a quick lunch at Insa-dong.

Experience authentic Korean meals around the area.

3. Head over to the Gyeongbokgung palace.

Here, you can watch The Royal Guard-Changing Ceremony that has taken place since 1469. You can even learn to write your name in Korean calligraphy on rice paper. Don't forget to bring another copy for your last destination.

4. Visit the Sejong Art Center.

Learn about the story of two of South Korea's national heroes as you take a walk in the exhibition hall of "The Story of Sejong, The Story of The Admiral Yi Sunshin."

5. Explore on your own!

Enjoy the rest of your free time—just don't lose track of time because these palaces are situated about 80 minutes away from Incheon airport.
