Only two episodes left and our current K-drama obsession Crash Landing on You will finally come to a close—and yes, we're crying inside, too!
TBH, we’re suffering from separation anxiety as early as now! But we bear good news that miiight take some of that pain away: Actress Seo Ji-hye (who flawlessly plays the character of Seo Dan) already has a new project lined up after CLOY—and she’ll star alongside Song Seung-heon, who you’ll probably remember from the hit 2000 series Endless Love: Autumn in My Heart (an OG favorite for long-time K-drama fans!).
According to a report by Korean website Soompi, Ji-hye will play the female lead of an upcoming MBC drama titled Shall We Eat Dinner Together?, which is based on a webtoon of the same name. It “will tell the love story of a man and a woman who have grown jaded about romance after experiencing painful heartbreaks. Through eating dinner together, they eventually recover their ability to feel emotion and begin to find love over food,” the article says of the plot.
Seo Ji-hye’s character is named Woo Do Hee, who has grown numb when it comes to love after coming out of a bad relationship.
Song Seung-heon’s role, on the other hand, is male lead Kim Hae Kyung, a psychiatrist and food psychologist. He has the ability to analyze people through watching them eat and he also treats his patients through food.
We don’t know about you, but this sounds like our next K-drama addiction! Shall We Eat Dinner Together is scheduled to premiere in May.
