What to expect at Sefriya Farm and Orchard in Alitagtag, Batangas
With the hustle and bustle of the nearby city, a good lie-in at a tranquil escape is a much-needed respite. For anyone seeking the sound of chirping birds in the morning, Sefriya could grant your fairytale fantasies.
Two guests can opt for a comfortable stay in its Provence-style Deluxe Room, which houses a queen-sized bed, an en-suite bathroom, and a private balcony.
On the other hand, Sefriya also offers Superior Rooms for those who prefer two double beds for their temporary abode. Like the Deluxe Room, the space also holds an en-suite bathroom with complete amenities and a picturesque balcony for the guests. Each room has an access to an in-house chef that can prepare meals à la carte.
The Grand Pavilion: Tipanan and Harana
The centerpiece of Sefriya, the grand pavilion stands as a magnificent structure with 152 square meters and three stories, akin to that of French countryside chateaus. With its artfully decorated interior including Machuca flooring, rustic and crystal chandeliers, and large French windows that give the space its airy feel, the area overlooks Sefriya’s idyllic Versailles-inspired flower garden. Its Tipanan and Harana ballrooms are also available for intimate gatherings, two spaces rich in possibilities with their pillar-less halls.
The Versailles-Inspired Garden: Liwasan
What may be most emblematic of Sefriya is its sprawling French garden Liwasan, which its owners dub “an ode to the Versailles Garden.” The intricate pathways in its 1,215 square meters all lead to the garden’s grand tiered fountain, which is lit up beautifully once the sun sets.
The Provence-Inspired Garden: Hiraya
Taking a page from the southeastern side of France, the Hiraya gardens connect to the Provence-esque accommodations in its homely two-story building. Surrounded by decades-old mango trees and bathing birds in nearby fountains, the foyer makes for a quaint rendezvous spot with its high ceilings and hand-painted walls.
The Gazebo: Cariñosa
Fulfill your Sound of Music dreams in Sefriya’s idyllic gazebo, a structure housing checkered floors, a crystal chandelier, and a see-through dome ceiling. With a perfect view of the Liwasan gardens, the gazebo at night is a scene straight from a movie, featuring dazzling lights in a romantic fashion.
Fancy a Southern France destination wedding with less visa paperwork? The footpaths of Sefriya also lead to its rustic chapel, a warm hallowed hall with wide French windows, handmade Machuca tiles, and rustic 12-light wagon wheel chandeliers.
