Are you all set for a brand new year? First off, you might want to rethink your wardrobe and home décor because Pantone just made the big announcement—and for the first time, it released not just one, but two colors of the year!
"It's here! We are proud to announce the Pantone #ColorsoftheYear for 2016 are #RoseQuartz & #Serenity."
Yup, you read that right. The color authority has officially named Rose Quartz (pale pink) and Serenity (baby blue) as the chosen shades for 2016. Supposedly bringing in a sense of calmness and relaxation, this pastel pairing was a symbolic color selection that represents a balance between warmth and tranquility.
“Joined together, Rose Quartz and Serenity demonstrate an inherent balance between a warmer embracing rose tone and the cooler tranquil blue, reflecting connection and wellness as well as a soothing sense of order and peace.” – Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of Pantone Color Institute
That said, expect these baby hues to take over the fashion and beauty industry because come next year, the 2015 Marsala craze is no more.

Now, who's up for some redecorating?
