Restaurant-quality ramen in your kitchen!

No matter how hot it gets, we will endure boiling temperatures if only for a comforting bowl of ramen. We need it. Isolation is lonely and ramen is like a hug with no physical human contact. In the last two weeks, we noticed that restaurants have resume partial operations, and we're happy that some of our favorite ramen haunts are back, creating versions of their bestsellers that are easily enjoyable at home.

1. Yummy Tokyo

Enjoy ramen 24/7 with Yummy Tokyo's uber affordable make-your-own ramen kits. With flavors spanning Miso, Spicy Miso, Tantanmen, Curry, Cold Ramen, Shoyu, Tonkotsu, and Seafood and in prices ranging between P129 to P170, it gives you no excuse not to have ramen every time you need comfort. And goodness knows we need that a lot these days.

Delivery is available only in Metro Manila;

2. Mendokoro Ramenba and Ramen Yushoken

When Mendokoro Ramenba and Ramen Yushoken announced that it was relaxing its no takeout policy and reformatting to frozen takeaways, the world came calling. The group has a monthlong backlog and had to stop taking orders to catch up, but the efficient kitchen was able to finish the orders in half the time and they've begun taking orders again. Available in Shio, Shoyum Super Chasu, and Tantanmen, each kit comes frozen broth, handcrafted noodles, and the usual adornments: chasiu, condiments, sauces. Most of the menu is available, too, albeit ready-to-eat.

Ramen Nagi recently launched Ramen to Go, the brand's first ever, er, ramen to go. It's essentially an instant version of the famous flavors, all ready and set in one box. There's a time limit to ordering (1 p.m. to 5 p.m.) and ordering is as easy as choosing the nearest Ramen Nagi outlet and fill up the online form; wait for Ramen Nagi to call for confirmation; settle payment and pick your schedule. Enjoy.
