If you frequent certain food establishments because they satisfy your cravings and needs, one of the best things you can ever purchase from food establishments is their rewards card that is, if they offer it.

In most cases, cardholders are entitled to discounts, get access to exclusive promos, and if you earn enough points, you can use it for discounts from your total bill. In other cases, you can even get free food and drinks for a certain amount of points!

Here are 5 different rewards cards worth having in your wallet:

1. Starbucks: Starbucks Rewards Card

If you go to Starbucks for your coffee fix on a daily basis or every week or so, it's definitely worth it to have a Starbucks rewards card in your wallet. Once you've bought the card (it costs as low as P300 depending on the design), the amount you paid for the card may be used to order your Starbucks drinks and merchandise.

How does the point system work? Once you've registered your card, you can get one Star (point) for every P25 spent on food, drinks, and merchandise. Once you reach 100 Stars, you get a free drink or pastry.

A few other things we love about being a Starbucks cardholder: Starbucks has "Double Star days" when you get twice as many Stars, it's easy to reload, and you can order through the app and have your orders picked up from the store, drive-thru window, or a dedicated pick-up point outside the store. No need to line up!

For both cards, the card is valid for one year, you get a large pizza and quarter chicken as a birthday treat, a one-time 15% discount during your birthdate month, a B1T1 pizza for delivery, and a free cup of UCC coffee with a minimum P200 for every dine-in transaction. Both use the same point system of 1 point for every P100 spent.

The only difference between the two cards, and ultimately the deciding factors, are the price, the dine-in discounts, and the freebie upon purchasing the SuperCard of your choice.
