Aside from wearing the hat of a digital content creator, did you know that Rei Germar also runs a couple of businesses? In December 2020, the 24-year-old Pinay launched By September, an Instagram shop that sells locally handmade fine jewelry which she owns with her long-time boyfriend Migy Romulo. Fast forward to May this year, Rei and her barkada (fellow influencers Hazel Quing, Ry Velasco, and Jammy Cruz) established The Lula Club, a community that "encourages memory keeping." They sell cute disposable cameras in three different designs.
And it sure looks like Rei is adding a new business venture to her list. In her latest vlog, she shared that she and her family are opening their very own unlimited KBBQ restaurant! It's located in their hometown, Marilao, Bulacan and is set to open this July. Check it out:
"Yung favorite unlimited KBBQ ko kasi, wala pa siya doon sa Bulacan. So we really wanted to bring it there, and we want to change something about the interiors," Rei said. Throughout the video, she gives us a sneak peek of what the restaurant is going to look like once done, and revealed that they worked with Tanaw Studio for the interior design. According to Rei, their vision for this place is, "Your Korean BBQ meets your cute Korean cafe." They want to go away from usual colors like red and black, and instead go for a look that's ~refreshing~ to the eyes. There will also be plants on the walls, as she pointed out.
If you're planning an intimate gathering, you'll have the option to reserve their function room. There's an accordion door in the middle so if needed, the area can actually be separated into two smaller rooms. Overall, the restaurant can accommodate 80 people.
And of course, in true Rei Germar fashion, there's gonna be a designated spot for picture taking! "Your girl needs an IG area in this restaurant," she added. (BRB, we're already thinking about how to pose for the 'gram.)
"Everything is done already. Finishing na lang, tapos clean up, and then installation," Rei said. Their employees are currently training in the main branch and in a few weeks, they'll start their training in Marilao.
