When planning for your retirement, it’s always a good idea to put your pension into a worthy investment. That being said, a cozy home to spend your days relaxing in after working for years is definitely one that should be at the top of your list to plan for. If you want to get the most bang for your buck, consider a prefab house that only takes a few days to be built and only costs P800,000.
Here’s Why You Should Consider a Prefab Home for Your Retirement
That is exactly what Jomar Rabajante did for his senior parents who wanted a tangible outcome from their retirement benefits. Looking for a way to spend more time with the entire family but also being limited in their travel choices due to the pandemic, they decided to build their very own prefab home!
The decision to build a Prefab home was made mostly out of convenience more than anything. Being a full-time Professor and with his siblings being equally as busy, Jomar needed a house that could be constructed quicker than usual. It was during this time that he took to the internet to research possible options and found out that a Prefab house can be created in under a week.
If you’re unfamiliar with the concept of a modular or prefab house, it’s typically a home that’s constructed using metal walls which are insulated to stave off the heat. It can be as big or as small as you want it, depending on the number of container vans you need with each van costing around P180,000 to P200,000.
