On its 31st year of nurturing local talent, Preview honors stalwarts who have not only trailblazed in their respective fields but have also helped define what it means to be a Filipino creative. Spanning generations and moving across different chapters of the brand, the Preview Hall of Fame reflects not just individual legacy but cultural impact.
"We were very intentional about selecting creatives who represent different chapters in Preview’s history," says Editor-in-Chief Marj Ramos-Clemente. "Each honoree is a trailblazer in their own right—someone whose career trajectory has intersected meaningfully with the brand’s evolution. These are individuals who nurtured their craft alongside Preview and have, over time, become almost synonymous with what the publication stands for."

For its inaugural batch, fashion stylist Liz Uy, photographer BJ Pascual, hairstylist Jing Monis, and multidisciplinary designer Cyndi Fernandez-Beltran were inducted during the Preview Creatives’ Night at Newport World Resorts' The Grand Bar & Lounge.
Reflecting on their careers, they shared words of encouragement for fellow creatives. Ahead, read highlights from their acceptance speeches as Preview Hall of Fame 2026 honorees.

Liz Uy
"My entire fashion career started right here with Preview. I spent ten years in the golden era of print, starting as an assistant, then fashion editor, and eventually landing a cover.
"To go from the girl behind the scenes to this Hall of Fame is a surreal reminder of how lucky I am to still be doing what I love.

"Pauline Juan, thank you for believing in me from day one and hiring me on the spot. And to my mentor, my brother Vince [Uy]—the genius who started it all—thank you for pushing me and still dreaming alongside me.
"To my husband and my two cute boys: thank you for letting Mommy shine. And to my Stylized team, you are my backbone. To the Preview team today: thank you for seeing me.
"And to my friends in the industry and the creatives in this room:
Cyndi Fernandez-Beltran
"Thank you, Preview, for making all my ingresses for the past 20 years worth it! You know, my 10-year-old self wouldn’t have believed I would be standing here.

"To all the brands who have trusted me, and all the people we’ve worked and learned alongside with. To my team and my partner, my husband, Mado [Beltran].
"And of course, to Preview for this honor—for giving Filipino creatives a platform to showcase their talent and for making us feel seen. You constantly remind us that all of our unique voices always have a place in this industry."
Jing Monis
"Thirty-two years ago, when I started my career as a makeup artist and hairstylist, not many people believed in me. But I believed in my dreams and my vision.
"At a time when heavy makeup was the trend, I introduced the no-makeup makeup look. Some people laughed and criticized my work, but Myrza Sison believed in me.

"That belief helped me land my first cover for Preview Magazine and opened doors to many opportunities here and abroad.
"So to all aspiring makeup artists and hairstylists:
"Thank you, Preview Magazine, for this award of recognition. Thank you to Leah Puyat, Raymond Lontoc, and my dear friend Myrza Sison for trusting me."
BJ Pascual
"Back in 2008, I was in college, and for one of our subjects, we had to write a letter to our future selves. I wrote to myself, 'You want to work in Preview Magazine.' 'Yun lang. And somehow, Preview didn't just let me in; it kept the door open.
"From my first gig for Preview as a photographer's assistant, to shooting my first editorial, to eventually shooting countless covers, to even being on the cover myself, and somehow to even be here standing tonight, looking back, it's been a series of full circle moments.

"But more than the milestones, what I'm really thankful for are the people, the creatives I met on set who became collaborators, then friends, then family. The kind of people you grow up with, the ones you text at 2 a.m. about a concept or a crisis—you know, I've had quite a few crises the past few years. Or both.
"Preview has always been that kind of space. One that doesn't just feature Filipino creatives, it builds them. It trusts them. It invests in them. Whether you're based here or working abroad, it has always found ways to support Filipino creatives and bring us into the conversation—and I think that's what makes it so special.
"Because in an industry where validation can sometimes feel like it has to come from somewhere else, Preview has always reminded us that what we're doing right here at home holds weight, carries value, and deserves to be seen
in its own terms. And that kind of support quietly shapes careers. It shaped mine."
"Thank you for trusting me. Thank you for growing with me.
"And to Preview, thank you for believing in Filipino creatives and for continuing to believe in those of us who are still here, still creating, still telling our stories from home. That means more than you know. Thank you."
