Nowadays, where pretty wedding prenups fit for the 'gram are concerned, most couples would naturally resort to far-off scenic destinations. Engaged couple Meyrick Guan and Bernardine Go, however, took the road less traveled, proving that all the backdrop you need to get those gorgeous shots may already be waiting just around the metro. Case in point, their shooot location: the newly rehabilitated Jones Bridge in Manila.
"A bridge in Paris? Almost! Featuring the historical Jones Bridge, a glimpse from Meyrick & Bernadine's Pre wedding session," photography team Peach Frost Studio captions their now-viral prenup shoot.
Seen posing and wandering across a line of towering intricate lamp posts, the couple's tryst around the streets of Manila further gained traction when the capital's Mayor Isko Moreno himself took notice of the photos on his official Facebook page.
"Maraming salamat po sa couple, Meyrick at Bernardine, pati na rin po sa Peach Frost Studio sa appreciation niyo po sa ating efforts para pagandahin ang ating makasaysayang Jones Bridge!!! Ang ganda po ng prenup!" praised Mayor Isko.

Since assuming his position last June 30, Mayor Moreno has made a public commitment to restoring Manila to its former glory, not least of which are its historical landmarks, including the Jones Bridge. The rehabilitation project is part of his administration's current push to revive the capital's heritage and tourism.
“Protecting heritage builds tourism. Tourism builds jobs and business," he said during a courtesy call with Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Zhao Jianhua last September 2019. Subsequently, Mayor Moreno received a P20-million donation from Chinese businessmen on the same day as aid for the resoration of the Jones Bridge.
The bridge, which now sits anew in polished and painted balustrades and newly installed ornate lamp posts, recently finished rehabilitation last month.
According to reports, the project involved the consultation of Jerry Acuzar, an architect most known for his work on Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar.
