A trip to South Korea won’t be complete without visiting some iconic K-drama locations. If you’re a K-drama fan and a foodie at heart, then heading to these popular restaurants should be on top of your to-do list! Be sure to add these restos the next time you visit SoKor:
1. Dal.komm Cafe
As seen on: Descendants of the Sun, Goblin

Remember that heart-wrenching Descendants of the Sun scene where Kang Mo Yeon (Song Hye Kyo) breaks up with Captain Yoo Si Jin (Song Joong Ki) and leaves him sitting at the restaurant alone? Well, that exact moment happened at Dal.komm Café in Incheon. While it’s such a sad scene to revisit, maybe you can take comfort in the sweet delights offered on the menu. There are lots of coffee options, smoothies,Instagrammable desserts (including bingsu!), and pastries to try. You’ll definitely forget about the heartbreak!

If you want to visit a Dal.komm branch within Seoul, head to the one in Balsan and you’ll find the exact Goblin location where Wang Yeo aka The Grim Reaper (Lee Dong Wook) and Sunny (Yoon In Na) had a double date with Yoo Deok Hwa (Yook Sung Jae) and his friend.
Incheon Address: Level 1, Central Park Prugio, 23-5 Songdo-dong, Yeonsu District, Incheon, Korea
Balsan Address: 894 Nagamachi-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul, Korea
2. Subway
As seen on: Goblin, Descendants of the Sun, Doctors, The Good Doctor, Prime Minister and I
The American sandwich joint is a popular hangout in K-dramas. Maybe it’s a sponsor move as evident in one Goblin scene where Kim Shin (Gong Yoo) buys a sandwich for one and tells the envious Ji Eun Tak (Kim Go Eun), "It’s delicious. You should have gotten one."

You'll recall that in Descendants of the Sun, Kang Mo Yeon (Song Hye Kyo) was also spotted buying a Subway platter for her colleagues! Now, if that makes you crave sandwiches, good news is you don't really need to go that far as you’ll find Subway restaurants in the Philippines too!
3. BBQ Olive Chicken
As seen on: Goblin

Now here’s a restau that’s pretty much tied to the Goblin narrative. Sunny (Yoo In Na) runs the Olive Chicken restaurant where Ji Eun Tak (Kim Go Eun) also works as a part-timer. Some of the scenes were shot in the Gangnam branch and then later on, they moved to the Jongno location.

Once you get to both branches, you’ll see a lot of Goblin posters and other memorabilia from the show displayed in the resto. Before you take pics, don’t forget to order their famous chicken platters. Or better yet, go for chimaek (chicken + beer) combo along with their pasta and pizza offerings. Yum!

Oh, and did we mention you can spot this resto on Crash Landing on You, too?
Gangnam Address: 687-2 Ilwon-dong, Gangnam District, Seoul, Korea
Jongno Address: 11-5 Gwancheol-dong, Jongno District, Seoul, Korea
4. Ssangdaepo Restaurant
As seen on: Itaewon Class, Hyena, Secret Garden, Strong Woman Do Bong-soon, Boys Over Flowers

Who's up for some grilled meat? If you’re going to satisfy those cravings, might as well go to Ssangdaepo Restaurant so you can reminisce some of your fave K-dramas. For Itaewon Class fans, it’s where Park Saeroyi (Park Seo Joon) and Oh Soo Ah (Kwon Na Ra) eat dinner and set the record straight on their relationship.

Did you know the Hyun Bin has also been to this place? In Secret Garden, there’s a scene where his character Kim Joo Won (Hyun Bin) questions Gil Ra Im (Ha Ji Won) and Min Ah Young (Yoo In Na)’s meat choices.
Address: 291 Cheongpa-ro, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, Korea
5. Coffee Prince Café
As seen on: Coffee Prince

Hardcore Gong Yoo fans definitely dream of going to this café. After all, it’s the central location for one of Gong Yoo’s iconic dramas: Coffee Prince. In the series, Choi Han Kyul (Gong Yoo) manages the all-boys café and hires tomboyish Go Eun Chan (Yoon Eun Hye) who Han Kyul mistakes for a guy. Their love story develops at this Hongdae-based café. Drinks may be a bit pricey but if you’ve seen the series a bunch of times already, then it’s still worth the visit!
