Stumped for an interesting and eye-catching prenup idea? Why not spice things up by adding zombies into the mix. No, we’re not just pulling your leg. With K-drama-themed prenup shoots being the recent trend in the wedding world lately, such an odd yet one-of-a-kind suggestion has actually already been done.
Engaged couple Felix Zamora and Vanessa Rosaroso took their love for Korean dramas to another level by staging a pre-wedding shoot inspired by the hit period horror thriller Kingdom. Where Felix dressed up as Crown Prince Lee Chang, Vanessa embodied the role of physician Seo-bi, as portrayed by Bae Doona in the original series. Dedicated to their concept, the two didn’t just look the part, they incorporated zombies into their photos, too!
That said, while both Felix and Vanessa are avid K-drama fans, it was actually their wedding coordinator and stylist Almz Saludsod of Exquisite Styling and Events who proposed the theme. “I noticed that this concept is really for them. There was a time that they were hesitant because some of the scenes that they’ve watched were really bloody, but I was able to convince them [after telling them] that those scenes are not included,” she told Preview.
As per Almz, seeing as travel is next to impossible right now, they instead were able to capture and recreate Kingdom’s excitingly eerie essence by visiting Medellin, Cebu’s Bamboo Forest. Yep, they shot it right here in the Philippines. FYI, the 2.3-hectare land was established around six years ago, and has since become a famous destination spot for locals and tourists alike.
