It was announced September of last year that Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach would be making history as the first Filipino wax figure in Madame Tussauds Hongkong. While the actual figure isn't quite ready for the public eye, it seems an excited Pia already made her way to MTHK over the weekend to see where her statue will soon be placed.
During her visit to the iconic museum, Queen P also took the time to interact and mingle with the Filipinos in the area, as well as give out interviews to Hong Kong-based Philippine media. Although she's yet to see her own figure, Pia did enjoy herself as she went around taking photos with the existing icons in the museum like Michael Jackson, Audrey Hepburn, and The Beatles. She notably took most of her time in the Korean section and particularly got excited over singer Siwon Choi's wax figure—who even replied to her IG post later on!
Organized by Madame Tussads Hong Kong along with the Philippine consulate, Pia capped off an eventful afternoon by taking photos and playing games with the Filipino community at Star Hall, KITEC.
Pia's wax figure is set to wear a replica of the Swarovski-embellished blue Michael Cinco gown that she donned during the coronation night of Miss Universe 2016. As for her pose?
