Adela-Mae Marshall, one of the two representatives of #TeamPhilippines in Asia’s Next Top Model Cycle 6, has officially made it into the top three of the competition. Shortly after last night’s episode aired, the 20-year-old Filipina-British model took it to Instagram to announce the big news. “I am so happy to finally be able to tell you all that I was able to bring my beautiful country into the Top 3 of #AsNTM6,” she captions her post. “…I didn’t think I would make it in this episode because both of my competitors were really strong but I will try my best to secure a back-to-back win for the Philippines.”
Additionally, Adela ends her post by thanking her loyal supporters. She writes, “I want to thank everyone who has supported me throughout the whole competition. I never thought I would receive this much support and I am so grateful for it all.”
Joining Adela in the top three are Dana Slosar of Thailand and Mia Sabathy of Taiwan. To date, Adela has succeeded in winning one Best Photo of the Week and has been a consistently strong contender throughout the competition. If she brings home the title this season, she will be the second Filipina to have won Asia’s Next Top Model, following in the footsteps of Maureen Wroblewitz of Cycle 5 last year.
Keep slaying, Adela! We’re proud of you!
