Just days ago, we were swooning over Patricia Santos and her fiance's breathtaking engagement photo shoot in Iceland. This time around, the fashion designer and her now-husband Lester Yao have officially tied the knot—and just like their prenup session, their wedding photos are nothing short of magical!
The couple, who had to forego a big and lavish celebration due to the pandemic, opted for a civil ceremony last January 17. Attended by less than 20 guests which primarily included their family and close friends, it was an intimate gathering that still made our jaws drop. Event stylist Gideon Hermosa transformed a private backyard garden into a paradise brimming with lush romantic blooms. From their all-white cake to their gorgeous wedding looks, every element makes for an overall dreamy vibe!
That said, one of the things we absolutely adored was the bridal look! Being one of the country's most sought-after fashion designers, Patricia took it upon herself to create her own fairytale-worthy wedding gown—an ethereal off-the-shoulder frock that floated like a dream as she walked down the aisle.
"The dress I wore wasn’t what I had in mind, but since our original wedding plans got cancelled, I decided to make another gown that is simpler but would still reflect my personality," the bride tells Preview. "I decided to go for something light and feminine with a touch of my signature intricate beading and some Swarovski crystals."
To complement her romantic dress, Patricia wore her long wavy hair down and kept her monochrome makeup and jewelry minimal. She chose not just one but two designer heels as her wedding shoes: a pair of square-toed Bottega Veneta sandals and Jacquemus' strappy Valérie heels.
Naturally, the groom did not get left behind when it came to making a sartorial statement. Lester himself looked dashing clad in his beige Dior suit and Dolce & Gabbana brown leather wingtip boots. We just love a fashionable, well-dressed couple!
