As if Park Bo Gum wasn't already perfect in our eyes, reports are now saying that the actor has been volunteering at an orphanage for the past seven years. Apparently, Bo Gum and his agency Blossom Entertainment kept it a secret!
A report from Soompi says that before Bo Gum enlisted in the military on August 31, he sent a letter and a cake to the orphanage. The orphanage shared a photo of it on social media, saying: "Actor Park Bo Gum, we are extremely touched and loved. We truly thank you for your unchanging love and interest in us for seven years. We will always support actor Park Bo Gum, who is always a positive influence on others. Please return in good health...We're touched by your handwritten letter and the pretty cake. The children really loved it. We thank you sincerely."
"Who else would know the pain of losing a parent... Bo Gum lost his mom when he was very young," a fan wrote on Twitter.
Another said: "Literally an angel." We totally agree and we miss him so much!
Bo Gum's new drama, Record Of Youth, is currently available for streaming on Netflix. He stars as Hye Jun, a model who aspires to become an actor. During the show's second episode, he even sang a BTS song! Park Bo Gum plays makeup artist and ultimate Hye Jun fangirl Jeong Ha while Byeon Woo Seok is Hye Jun's BFF Hae Hyo.
