Pantone has finally made their annual Color of the Year announcement, and their choice for 2017 has the upcoming year already looking bright. Ladies and gents, meet your new shade obsession: Greenery.

Pantone describes Greenery as "a fresh and zesty yellow-green shade" and "nature's neutral." They consider it a hue that will encourage our highly modernized society to take a breather and just appreciate the great outdoors without superficial pressures. And before anything else, we'll beat you to saying it—it's very reminiscent of matcha.

When it comes to incorporating it to your 2017 looks, Pantone says that Greenery works well with a ton of color palettes ranging from earth tones, to blush hues, and cool blues. And for all the neutral color lovers out there, you can perhaps start building your new wardrobe by mixing it with whites, blacks, and earth tones!
