Born in Japan, OMOTESANDO KOFEE is known for serving up specialty brews in spaces with minimalist interiors that embody Japanese Zen. Barista Eiichi Kunitomo opened the first OMOTESANDO KOFEE in an old tatami house in Omotesando Hills in Tokyo—initially just as a pop-up spot, until the word spread. Today, they've got branches all over the world: in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok, London, and soon, Manila. In fact, they're scheduled to open their doors by March 2021, according to Rockwell Land.

While the original location closed down in 2015, the spirit of OMOTESANDO KOFEE lives on in Tokyo as Koffee Mameya, opened by Kunitomo in the same spot where OMOTESANDO KOFEE originally opened.
