Action and sci-fi dominate this month's Netflix releases as the streaming site leads with yet another original K-drama TV series starring Song Joong-Ki. The list of new thrilling shows and movies also include a new season of Black Mirror, along with Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler's hilarious murder mystery.

Arthdal Chronicles (June 1)
Set in the mythical ancient land of Arth, Arthdal Chronicles stars Song Joong-Ki and Jang Dong-Gun as their characters fight and struggle to find unity among their respective tribes and peace within their land.
Black Mirror: Season 5 (June 1)
Black Mirror's back with yet another mind-boggling season! While we can't wait for the sci-fi anthology to continue digging deeper into the dark side of technology, we have to admit the episode we're most excited to see definitely involves the return of Miley Cyrus as... a dark version of Hannah Montana? You just have to watch the trailer to see what we mean.
Tales of the City (June 7)
Tales of the City first aired back in 1993 as a miniseries chronicling the lives of misfits and their chosen family. This year, the show returns to Netflix, as Mary Ann Singelton—the lead character from the original series—reunites with the family she left behind back at 28 Barbary Lane. The show's display of several LGBTQ characters also fits in just in time for Pride month.
Trinkets (Coming in June)
In this original Netflix teen drama, three misfits who encounter each other at a Shoplifter's Anonymous form an unlikely bond as they help each other get through the gruelling realities of high school.
Marvel's Jessica Jones: Season 3 (Coming in June)

I Am Mother (June 7)
After humanity's mass extinction, a lone teenage girl is raised by a maternal android in order to one day repopulate earth. Her isolated world, however, is shattered when another human breaks into her clandestine home.
Murder Mystery (June 14)
After finding success in their recent rom-com films, Netflix attempts their own revival of the action-comedy genre with Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler taking the helm. Playing a married couple looking to reignite their marriage, the two find themselves in Europe being framed for the murder of an elderly billionaire.
Jo Koy: Comin' In Hot (June 12)
Filipino-American stand-up comedian Jo Koy returns to Netflix with yet another special. This time, the unapologetic comic delivers a hilarious show in Hawaii as he shares his "honest take on island life, ethnicity, fatherhood, and more."
Beats (June 19)
A struggling producer and an agoraphobic music prodigy form an unlikely bond in South Side Chicago. With their love for hip-hop, the two help each other face their own personal demons while trying to make it into the city's music scene.
Shaft (June 28)
Any movie with Samuel L. Jackson, guns, and equal parts action and comedy is always bound to deliver. Samuel plays the badass private eye John Shaft, whose life takes an unexpected turn when a kid he's never met claims to be his son and wants in on the workings of his dangerous job.
