New L.A. Museum Exhibits Artifacts of Your Messy Breakup

Why wear your broken heart on your sleeve when you can put it up on display?

Just came out of a rocky relationship? Get back at that mother chucker by donating your broken heart to Los Angeles’ soon-to-open Museum of Broken Relationships.

Mirroring the same concept of the Museum of Broken Relationships in Zagrab, Croatia, the museum will collect and curate items that serve as painful reminders of failed relationships donated by ex-couples who ironically would rather preserve these items instead of burning them.

L.A. Weekly reports that the museum, which will be opening its doors this May at 6751 Hollywood Blvd., will be showcasing about 70 items taken from those exhibited in Croatia along with 30 other submissions from the locals. Each item featured shall be put on display together with details of the relationship but will keep the donor’s name anonymous.
