The National University (NU) was able to defend their title as the Cheer Dance Competition champions of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 82. They emerged victorious over seven other participating universities, including De La Salle University (DLSU), Adamson University (AdU), Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU), University of the East (UE), University of the Philippnes (UP), Far Eastern University (FEU), and University of Santo Tomas (UST).

With their #MabuhayPilipinas routine—an ode to our motherland—packed with daring tosses and tumbles, the NU Pep Squad delivered synchronized dance moves and built towering pyramids.

Meanwhile, the FEU Cheering Squad's thrilling Michael Jackson-themed performance earned them the second place, leaving the third spot to the Adamson Pep Squad who gave an entertaining routine inspired by Caribbean Disco.
