Beauty queen April Love Jordan passed away last June 21 after losing her battle to liver cancer at only 31 years old.
Most known for finishing as 3rd princess for Miss World Philippines 2012, April was already a veteran at the pageant game years prior. She also took part in Binibining Pilipinas 2009, where she reached the Top 10; Mutya ng Pilipinas 2006, where she took home the 2nd runner-up award; Miss Philippines Earth 2006; and the International Beauty & Model Festival in 2009, where she bagged the first place.
The winner of April's batch in Miss World Philippines, Queenie Rehman, mourned the loss of her friend on Instagram, still in disbelief. "'I'm lost for words April.. I just can't accept that you're gone. We won't be able to have these wonderful moments together. I know that you're in good place right now and we will truly miss you. You've fought hard in life till your very last breath. We are truly greatful to have met you and ofcourse being one of your close friends during Miss World Philippines and the years after that. We love you and we will miss you so much," she writes.
April's wake was held at the Heritage Park Memorial Chapels in Taguig. She was laid to rest today, June 25.
