Amidst all the buzz and controversy surrounding the ending of Game of Thrones—the what ifs, rewrites, and the looming separation anxiety—here’s one more jaw-dropping what-could-have been we recently discovered, courtesy of Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown.
In a recent interview with Preview, the young actress reveals that she actually auditioned for the beloved HBO series. And for what role exactly? Turns out, it was for the character of Lyanna Mormont.
“Yeah, that was the role I went for," Millie shares, chuckling, "but I got Eleven [of Stranger Things] instead! I'm not bitter!"
British actress Bella Ramsey ended up playing the now iconic role of Lyanna Mormont from GoT's season six to eight. But seeing how Millie also landed herself an equally formidable young girl to portray on Stranger Things, then it looks like everything worked out in the end!
Millie's portrayal of Eleven shot the 15-year-old actress to fame.
Do you think Millie should’ve gotten the part of Lyanna, though? Sound off in the comments below!
