The internet is torn about a tweet made by local beauty vlogger Michelle Dy showing the total amount of a shopping spree.
The tweet was posted on November 5, but was only brought to attention yesterday. In it, Michelle jokes about only meaning to buy socks, and then attaches a photo of a screen that suggests she definitely bought more than that. Unless a pair of socks could amount to P43,018, of course.
Netizens since began responding to the tweet, accusing the vlogger of showing off.
Meanwhile, some have also come to her defense while others urged her to donate to the less fortunate.
Hours later, Michelle posted another tweet seemingly addressing the situation.
