Before Meghan Markle became the Duchess of Sussex, she was a well-loved actress particularly for her role in Suits. On top of her acting career, she had a lifestyle blog called The Tig, in which she regularly posted recipes, food reviews, personal anecdotes, styling tips, and all of Meghan’s past humanitarian works. Needless to say, we miss it dearly.
Fans were naturally devastated when Meghan had to shut down The Tig in April of 2017 because she had to pursue royal duties. That said, it would be such a pleasure to witness her editorial skills one more time in the September issue of British Vogue.
A source spoke to The Daily Mail: “The spread in Vogue won't be a superficial photoshoot—on the contrary, she wants to use it as a platform to make a difference. She is working with Vogue as a contributing editor on a few fabulous stories about the causes that are near and dear to her and it may eventually become a regular column. Anna Wintour is also part of the talks and is in discussion about running some or all of the stories in US Vogue.”
Whether the Duchess of Sussex will be on the cover is still unsure, but it’s safe to say that there will be a few photos of her between columns. She is reportedly working with British Vogue’s editor Edward Enninful and Photographer Annie Leibovitz to highlight clothes made by up and coming designers whose advocacies also involve mental health and women’s rights.
