In her latest Youtube entry, Maja Salvador gave fans a tour of her family home in Antipolo, which had undergone multiple renovations. "Itong bahay na 'to ang dami daming memories at ang dami na din naging itsura ito. Ilang beses na pina-renovate. Ilang beses na pinagawa," she shares. "Ito yung family house namin. Ngayon kasi, hindi na ako dito nakatira pero dahil sa nangyaring lockdown, MECQ ulit, nag decide ako na mag stay nalang muna dito with my brother."
According to the actress, her home—which she fondly calls "Casa Andres"—previously had a black and white color scheme, with hints of red as accents. Maja then collaborated with her best friend and interior designer Miah Gomez to give it a modern makeover. "Since mahilig siya [pumunta] sa beach, our concept for her [new interiors] is modern tropical, so we wanted to have wood features," explains Miah. "At the same time, we wanted to bring [life] to her home that's why meron din siyang mga plants."
Maja's living room naturally has a bright and airy feel, thanks to its high-ceiling, but the new earthy theme helped further open up the space. Check out the entire house tour below!
