In recent months, Maggie Wilson has been the subject of headlines, following a public fallout with her estranged husband, entrepreneur Victor Consunji. This time, the beauty queen shared a vocally vindicated post after the arrest of Victor’s “trusted” employee.
A report disclosed the apprehension of Victor Consunji Development Corp. public relations director Lana Faith Johnson, after being caught in a police entrapment for consummated qualified theft last November 11.
The 38-year-old was captured by the Taguig City police with P82,500 entrapment money after issuing a “falsified receipt” to a client and the complainant.
While she didn’t directly address anyone, Maggie took to Instagram in posting a candid message days after Lana’s reported arrest.
“Surprise, surprise, another one reveals its true colours. I’ve warned you about her for years,” she began her caption, which accompanied photos of the beauty queen garbed in a red polka-dotted dress. “I tried to protect you but instead you chose to believe her over me.”
In the post, Maggie alleged that the publicist may have used her to “divert” attention from Lana's supposed thievery. “She manipulated you, made you so preoccupied with trying to discredit and attack me so that she could continue stealing from you, from us.”
Celebrities like Denise Laurel chimed in through the post's comments section. “She pretended and told people she was my publicist. But she wasn’t,” Denise wrote. “I attended some events for her to help her out but never made a cent and got stuck in sticky situations where I had to take care of myself in a whole different country [because] of her a few years back.”
Maggie and Victor announced their split in September 2021, and have recently been entangled in legal cases after he filed adultery charges against her and British-Thai entrepreneur Tim Connor. Maggie had denied the allegations with a series of alleged evidences, saying that Victor’s allegation was one of the bases for the “arrest warrant for the mother of your son.”
