It's an exclusive luxury dining experience like no other.

Louis Vuitton’s taking on the culinary world! Alongside the opening of their four-story maison in Osaka, Japan on February 1, the luxury brand is set to launch a restaurant and a cafe under their name in the same building.

According to an article by Vogue, chef Yosuke Suga will helm both food places, reportedly named Le Cafe V, and Sugalabo V. The renowned chef is best known for owning Sugalobo, an exclusive restaurant in Tokyo which only houses 20 seats and is particularly stringent with the guests that they allow to dine.

In an article by theworlds50best, which ranked Sugalobo as the 47th best restaurant in the world, they reveal that the restaurant “only accepts reservations from guests who know, or have a connection to, the chef.” Meaning, visitors can expect that getting a seat at the soon-to-open branch with Louis Vuitton will be just as difficult, if not nearly impossible.

As for their location, Le Cafe V will be situated on the topmost floor of the maison where it will also be hiding the speakeasy type entrance to Sugalobo V.

Designed by Jun Aoki, the interiors boast of nautical detailing “meant to evoke a ship floating on water [while] the facade itself is reminiscent of billowing sails,” describes Vogue.
