Liz Uy threw a Pinoy fiesta for baby Xavi's first birthday and it's pretty much every Filipino kid's dream come true. Complete with colorful streamers hung across the room, banigs laid out on the floor, and our favorite Pinoy delicacies and drinks, it was like getting thrown back in time to our Buwan ng Wika celebrations in school.
Renowned event stylist Gideon Hermosa along with Pabys Creates Events decked the room in antique period style furniture—think rattan chairs, woven plates, and wooden tables. Of course, it's not a real fiesta without triangle-shaped banderitas hanging over your head to complete the street party atmosphere.

Flanked by his parents, the dapper birthday boy looked absolutely adorable in a custom barong by Rajo Laurel.

What's a Pinoy party without our signature Pinoy parlor games like hitting a candy-filled palayok, or reaching up real hard to snatch the pabitin prizes? Even the adults had fun playing a game of hep-hep hooray.

We're already getting hungry just looking at all the kakanin, gulaman drinks, and sari-sari store snacks that were served beneath nipa-roofed stalls at the party. Xavi's four-tiered ube, pandan, and mascarpone cake included.

Of course, we couldn't let slip mommy Liz posing for a pic together with our current cover girl Keli Teo, from one Preview girl generation to the next. Truly the future of fashion, Keli wore an Inno Sotto dress for the party with a flower crown, and cool shades to match.

Happy first birthday, Xavi!
