In preparation for baby number two, Liz Uy converted the extension of her walk-in closet into the cutest nursery. She sought the help of her cousin, interior decorator and YouTuber Elle Uy, to make her dream baby room into a reality!
Liz's goal for the space was to make it cozier and to have everything she and her baby might need, all while maintaining the storage for her clothes and shoes. She and Elle also changed the look of the room from all-white to something more neutral, using earth tones like creams and wooden finishes with a dash of black.
Here's what the room looked like before and after the makeover:

Now, let's get into the details. To take away the whole "closet" vibe, Elle opted to cover the panels of Liz's cabinets with solihiya. She also maximized the space above it by placing rattan boxes for extra storage!

One of her favorite details about the revamped space is definitely the adorable animal print wallpaper from Neumuri Wallpapers! It added the right amount of pop for the neutral-themed space, and we're obsessed. It matches the rattan and wooden accents on the crib and the rest of furniture, too!

To switch up the lighting mood, the decorator added curtains that filter out harsh daylight and installed a chandelier. They also took out all the clutter to make room for a play and lounge area. In place of the old drawers, they put a changing pad and a swiveling nursing chair from Babyletto.

And because you can't have too much storage, this small nook has another set of drawers for everything else the future mom of two wants to hide from view. On top of it are some children's books, while right beside it is an air purifier.
