How time flies! Today, Liz Uy’s unico hijo, Xavi, turned three. (Isn’t he so cute??) A children’s party is probably one of the grandest celebrations there is, but things are different now. Instead of a huge bash, Liz opted for an intimate family gathering while maintaining the festive vibe with a well-executed theme, food, and dress code. A small celebration that was big on good vibes―we’re sure Xavi was very happy!
Check out the cutest details we spotted from his third birthday party:
1. The simple, construction-themed setup
According to Liz Uy’s Instagram stories, the party’s theme was inspired by YouTube kids’ content creator Blippi, known for his educational videos. He’s always dressed in a blue button-down, orange suspenders, and a beanie, which is why the party revolved around these two colors! Designed by Pabys Creates Events, the area was minimally decorated with orange balloons and construction signs that says “Caution Xavi’s Party Zone.” So cute! Just the right amount of decor for the small gathering.
2. The Instagrammable sweets
It isn’t a party without yummy food! To make Xavi’s birthday extra special, Liz had Cupcake Lab design a cake modeled to look like a construction site. It's a two-tier chocolate confection “cracked” to let “debris” of chocolate balls flow through. There’s even a toy bulldozer surrounded by colorful rocks or chocolate pebbles. Proof that a fabulous cake can make all the difference in the celebration! To make things sweeter, Liz also had a tower of Krispy Kreme donuts that’s been making our mouths water since we laid eyes on it.

3. Xavi’s outfit changes
Believe it or not, Xavi had outfit changes throughout the party! But then again, it’s definitely an influence of his fashion-loving momma. His two looks were in line with the theme. One featured checkered overalls worn on top of a white button-down (he looks so handsome!), while the other was a fun set of blue gray coords to make playtime easier. You’re looking on-point, Xavi!
4. The #aesthetic dress code
In true Liz Uy style, the guests arrived according to a specific color palette of rust, nude, brown, and touches of pale blue. A great scheme that blends warm tones and cool tones in a unique way! Laureen Uy came in sienna-hued pants and a beige top, while their brother Vince Uy came in blush-colored coords. Liz went for a lighter outfit of a cool nude top and pale blue pants. What a stylish family, indeed! This also shows that having a certain dress code can instantly make the event feel more special.
5. The decor that doubles as toys
One detail that shouldn’t be overlooked is the wall decor. If you look closely, they’re actually tiny toys that can still be used after the party. So Xavi’s fun doesn’t end when the party’s over! Given these trying times, it’s nice to put more thought into the decor and to think how these can be reused. Something to think about the next time you throw a party!
Happy birthday again, Xavi!
