One of our faves from Itaewon Class, Lee Joo Young, is going to star in Baseball Girl as Joo Soo In, a female athlete who aspires to be a professional baseball player, Soompi reports.
However, just like her beloved character in Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo, Seon Ok, Soo In faces many challenges and discrimination as a woman as she tries to pursue her dream of joining a professional baseball team. Thankfully though, things start to change when their team gets a new coach, Jin Tae (played by Lee Joon Hyuk).
In the trailer, as everyone tries to drown out her passion and drive to reach for her dreams, Soo In responds with a beautiful quote, "How can people know my future? Even I don't know it. I can't give up without trying."
