Our OG K-drama oppa Lee Dong Wook and Chicago Typewriter actress Im Soo Jung have both received offers for the new film Single In Seoul, according to Soompi.
The report was confirmed by a representative the stars’ agency, King Kong by Starship, who also said that both were reviewing the offers. (Fingers crossed!)
Single In Seoul revolves around lecturer and influencer Park Young Ho (to be played by Lee Dong Wook), and editor-in-chief Joo Hyun Jin (to be played by Im Soo Jung). Narcissistic and pretentious, Young Ho ends up working with Hyun Jin on an essay series featuring singles titled "Single in the City."
This is sort of an on-screen reunion for the labelmates as Dong Wook made a cameo in Soo Jung’s latest K-drama, Search: WWW, where he played her ex-boyfriend. Once finalized, Single In Seoul will begin filming in the summer.
In the meantime, if you want more of Lee Dong Wook, here are some notable K-dramas that he’s starred in:
Goblin: The Lonely And Great God
Dong Wook plays the amnesiac Grim Reaper, who, despite his idiosyncracies, holds a dark and tragic past.
My Girl
The actor's role as Seol Gong Chan in My Girl was his big break!
Strangers From Hell
This series proves Dong Wook's versatility as he plays the role of the creepy dentist Seo Moon Jo.
