Marjury Pescador and Bryan Romanillos’ ‘simple’ prenup shoot is actually anything but ordinary. While most couples might prefer carefully staged photos set to a picturesque backdrop abroad or themed after aeshtetic Pinterest boards—there’s nothing wrong with that—every pair is different. For their part, the Zamboanga natives opted to keep things completely candid.
Planting their feet on familiar ground, the two, instead, showcased their lives as they are in the province, from grilling lunch outdoors to doing laundry together. After all, once the wedding magic has passed, the real fairytale ending remains in the everyday mundanities of marriage.

Speaking of laundry, anyone who’s watched Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha might definitely get flashbacks from Marjury and Bryan’s prenup pics. Remember that criminally adorable scene in episode seven? Though unintended by the real life couple, we couldn’t help but be reminded of Du-sik and Hye-jin cutely doing the same chore together, with the show still fresh in our heads.

In truth, and with sentiments surprisingly similar to the K-drama as well, Marjury and Bryan simply wanted to highlight the beauty of a provincial life. “Living here in the province…really reflects what simple life we have. Gusto namin ipakita kung ano kami at kung anong buhay talaga na meron kami,” Marjury told Preview. “You need not live a luxurious life in the city. Getting to live in a calm and peaceful place close to nature brings happiness and joy to our hearts.”
