And here's why she deserves the title.

It's official! At the age of 21, Kylie Jenner is the youngest self-made billionaire in the world, having turned Kylie Cosmetics from an online hussle to a juggernaut beauty brand in a short span of four years. Kylie snatched the title from Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, who had previously earned his 10-figure fortune at the age of 23. Forbes estimates the worth of Jenner's company at one billion dollars, which she completely owns.

Now, before any violent reactions, it's best to be clear about Forbes' definition of "self-made," which is "someone who built a company or established a fortune on their own, rather than inheriting some or all of it. As long as the list member didn’t inherit a business or money, they are labeled self-made."

That being said, it's clear that, despite the Kardashian's claim to fame, Kylie Cosmetics is a whole entity all on its own. Before the giant that it is now, the very first 15,000 lip kits of Kylie's makeup line were actually funded by the 21-year-old herself, with money that she pooled from her modeling gigs, amounting to about $250,000. The eventual production growth of that 15,000 to 500,000? Well, that can all be owed to Kylie's impeccable social media mileage, effectively promoting her products to her estimated 175 million followers, across all her accounts, with just the simple click of her finger.

That said, there's no denying that the youngest Jenner in the Kardashian-Jenner empire definitely deserves the front-page title, and we can't wait to see how she plans on one-upping this milestone at her young age.
