For Hallyu lovers, you'd know that the friendship of Kim Soo Hyun and IU spans almost a decade. The two starred together in Dream High in 2011, The Producers in 2015, and even in IU's music video for her single "Ending Scene" in 2017. Most recently, IU tapped Soo Hyun to make his small screen comeback for a cameo role in her 2019 top-rating drama, Hotel Del Luna. So yeah, these two are really tight!

That said, it's no wonder that they support each other even in their separate projects. Case in point: Last week, Soo Hyun sent a food truck to the set of IU's upcoming movie Dream, co-starring Park Seo Joon. It happens to be a huge deal for IU because it's her debut in a feature film, too.
The banners on the truck reportedly say, "Director Lee Byung Hyun X Park Seo Joon X Lee Ji Eun X Lee Hyun Woo Movie (Dream) fighting!
Even though melo is (your) nature (referring to Be Melodramatic, Lee Byunghyun's directed drama), it's okay to challenge the World Cup."
IU's Dream co-actor Lee Hyun Woo, who also starred in the movie Secretly, Greatly with Kim Soo Hyun, took snaps with the food truck as well. His caption referred to him as "Sergeant Kim Soo Hyun," in reference to the early promotion he received for his exceptional conduct in the military.
ICYDK, Dream tells the story of team coach Yoon Hong Dae, a professional soccer player on disciplinary probation. According to Soompi, IU plays Lee So Min, "a producing director who dreams of finding success through a documentary about Hong Dae's team." The film is set to be released in 2021.
Soo Hyun is also keeping busy! His big comeback drama, It's Okay to Not Be Okay, will premiere on Netflix on June 20 and will tell the story of two people who "end up healing each other's emotional and psychological wounds." Soo Hyun co-stars with Seo Ye Ji in the drama. Could we expect a food or beverage truck from IU, next time? Knowing these two, it's highly likely!
