So it's been a couple of weeks since Start-Up aired its final episode which, TBH, left #TeamGoodBoy distraught and disappointed. As we all know by now, Han Ji Pyeong (Kim Seon Ho) did not end up with Seo Dal Mi (Suzy) 'cause she chose to follow her heart, which was always for Nam Do San (Nam Joo Hyuk) anyways.

According to Soompi, Kim Seon Ho recently spoke about his Start-Up stint and actually said that he, unlike everyone else rooting for him (LOL), was not disappointed that Dal Mi and Do San were end game.
"It would have been nice if it had worked out, but I actually thought it was a good thing that Ji Pyeong didn't get together with [Dal Mi]," he said. "I've said this before, but I think the right person for him is someone else out there. I don't think Ji Pyeong and Dal Mi were meant to be, and I think Do San and Dal Mi were. Maybe that's why I don't feel disappointed [that they didn't get together]."
In spite of Ji Pyeong not getting the girl, Seon Ho especially liked that his character "stayed true to himself" 'til the end: "I actually liked that Ji Pyeong mustered the courage to let Do San know what direction Dal Mi's heart was facing—and that he stayed true to himself by deciding to remain in the role of helper up until the very end."
Yup, Ji Pyeong was a Good Boy indeed. So, here's to Seon Ho's next drama, hoping he'd get the happy endinghe deserves!
Start-Up is available on Netflix.
