After attending the Balenciaga show at Paris Fashion Week and going to dinner with her family last Sunday, Kim Kardashian was robbed by two armed gunmen at her private apartment in the city. The masked men took with them a box containing over 10 million dollars worth of jewelry, along with her purse, two cellphones, and a thousand euros in cash. 

Thankfully, Kim was physically unharmed. But according to one of her spokespersons, the reality TV star was badly shaken by the incident.

In a statement shared by CNN, Kim was reportedly held at gunpoint by two men who were disguised as policemen. The robbers were able to track down her apartment by handcuffing the concierge and threatening him with a weapon until they successfully coerced him into opening the doors. Kim was then found and locked by the robbers in the bathroom so they could snatch her possessions. She immediately flew back to the U.S. in a private jet after giving her statement about the incident to the authorities.

Her husband Kanye West was informed of the unfortunate event and abruptly canceled his show at the Meadows Music & Arts Festival in New York, announcing to the audience that it was because of a "family emergency." According to People, their children North and Saint West were not with their mother when the robbery took place.
