We do love a good strawberry-related dessert. In fact, strawberry-loaded pastries have quickly emerged as a food trend, which we have no complaints about. We've seen strawberry sandwiches and doughnuts enter the radar, as well as strawberry pancakes and croiffles, but no one expected a masterpiece on the level of Kim Chiu's birthday cake.
Kim went full glam for her pre-birthday photoshoot, but she celebrated her 31st in a tropical-print pajama set, surrounded by family. With the streamers, balloons, and pretty decor, the party setup was totally festive, but there's no denying that the cake took center stage!

A creation by Cakes by Miriam, the Merry Berry Overload comes in three variations. Kim's is the twelve-inch, single-tier round cake, (P12,000). They also offer an eigh-inch one, (P7,100), and a two-tier cake that with a top layer measuring eight inches, and a bottom layer measuring eleven inches (P15,750). These stunning cakes are also studded with blueberries and blackberries. Beneath the berry heap, you'll find whipped cream and a vanilla butter cake!
