Kendall Jenner is again the talk of the town after being featured in Love Magazine's 20th anniversary issue. However, it's not her topless photo that's been garnering the attention but her now-controversial quote within the article. Kendall is currently under fire for a statement she said which did not sit well with her fellow models—most of whom are her peers.
In the interview, she was quoted saying "Since the beginning we’ve been super selective about what shows I would do. I was never one of those girls who would do like 30 shows a season or whatever the f--- those girls do."
In reaction to this, models including Vlada Roslyakova, Jessica Lee, and Teddy Quinlivan posted on their social media platforms in defense of "those girls."
In response to the flak she's been getting online, Kendall tweeted that she was "misrepresented" and her words were "twisted and taken out of context." She then proceeded to clarify what she meant to say.
She added that she knows of the other models' struggles because she gets to witness them firsthand.
Kendall concluded her statement by saying that she is inspired by her peers and encouraged everyone to "slay always."
