After years of waiting, we'll finally see our favorite Korean celebrities in person! Event promoters are now set to make our dreams come true by bringing Korean actors and K-pop groups to the Philippines—whether it's for a fan meeting or a concert. If you've already saved enough money, get ready to scream your lungs out in the coming months!
Here are all the Korean stars who are coming to the Philippines this 2022:
1. SHINee's Key, NCT Dream, WEi, and ALICE
Calling all Shawols, NCTzens, RUis, and BLRIS! Are you ready for a big show at the Big Dome? CDM Entertainment is organizing Begin Again K-Pop Edition, the country's first international live concert after two years. It's going to be one star-studded event with SHINee's Key, NCT Dream, WEI, and ALICE performing on May 29 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
2. Kim Soo Hyun
Bench is bringing Kim Soo Hyun to the Philippines next month! Their endorser will be holding his fan meeting, One Extraordinary Day With Kim Soo Hyun, on June 10, 2022 at the SM Mall Of Asia Arena. Since this is a Bench event, we can expect a lot of surprises in store for us!
3. Hwang In Youp
Filipino HIYILYs (Hwang In Youp's fandom) are so lucky because the True Beauty actor will hold a fan meet here not just once but twice! In Youp will be gracing the New Frontier Theater on June 19 for the Hwang In Yeop BYS Fun Meet In Manila. ICYDK, he was tapped as the cosmetic brand's endorser last year.
On August 20, In Youp will be meeting his PH HIYILYs again at the New Frontier Theater, this time for his 1st Asia Fan Meeting Tour.
4. Red Velvet
Power up, ReVeluvs: It's to see Red Velvet perform Feel My Rhythm (plus their many other hit songs) live at the SM Mall Of Asia Arena on July 22! The K-pop group is set to headline BE YOU: The World Will Adjust concert, an event for people with special needs. Also in the lineup are P-pop groups BINI and BGYO, as well solo artist Lady Pipay.
5. G(I)-DLE
Do you know what's in "my bag"? It's a list of things to do at G(I)-DLE's concert! Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua are making several stops for their first world tour, Just Me ( )I-DLE, and they'll be meeting their PH Neverlands on September 11.
We're pretty sure that there are more Korean stars who are coming to the Philippines this year, so let's keep on manifesting and saving up! According to Kring Kim, one of our fave fan meet and concert hosts, PULP Live World has a stellar lineup for us to look forward to.
