It's nothing new to say that people are obsessed with K-dramas, and that these shows inspire lives in more ways than one. Maybe it’s the interesting storylines, the beautiful actors and actresses, or even the stunning cinematography that have fans wanting for more. All in all, K-dramas serve not only as a source of entertainment but also inspiration for daily life, and the engagement photoshoot of Bea De Guzman and Paul Martin Manalo is actual proof of this.

Photographed by Kat Javier, the idea of the shoot made references to popular K-dramas such as Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, Crash Landing on You, and My Roommate is a Gumiho! As you'll soon see, the entire concept of the shoot—from the outfits to the poses and to the backdrops—definitely encapsulated their respective K-drama pegs!

As an homage to Lee Dam and Shin Woo-yeo in My Roommate is a Gumiho, the couple donned matching black pantsuits for their first set of photos. To complement the vibe of their edgy looks, the photos were shot in chilly Baguio, showcasing the area's pine trees and cozy houses.

2021's Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha was dubbed a healing show that touched the hearts of many, including this couple. For their second set of photos, they perfectly captured that laidback and fresh feel that this K-drama is all about. Spoiler alert: The main couple of the show had a chill DIY wedding photoshoot on top of a mountain in the final episode, which seems to have served as Bea and Paul's inspo for their own shoot.
