College life is tough and getting to graduate is a huuuge feat for anyone. But before you get to endure the best and worst four or so years of your life, you'd first have to get accepted into the school.
Passing entrance exams to any academic institution is not easy, but imagine just how tough it is to get into the most prestigious schools. These K-actors were able to do just that and got to attend South Korea's top universities:

Seoul National University
SNU is considered as the most prestigious university in South Korea and therefore has an aggressive screening process for aspiring students. It's part of the so-called SKY Universities in South Korea, which is a term they use to refer to the three most prestigious educational institutions in the country (the other two are Korea University and Yonsei University). It is currently ranked at 60th in the Times Higher Education's World University Rankings.
Kim Tae Hee
The Hi, Bye Mama actress attended the prestigious SNU and took up BA in Clothing and Textiles. According to SNU's website, Tae Hee was the president of the school's Women's Ski Club.
Lee Sang Yoon
Lee Sang Yoon starred in several dramas, including Life is Beautiful, Goddess of Fire, and Angel Eyes. He took up Physics at the prestigious school and graduated in 2013 after several years of delay due to his acting career and mandatory military enlistment.
Korea University
Along with Seoul National University and Yonsei University, Korea University makes up SKY, aka the three most prestigious schools in the country (It's where the name of K-drama Sky Castle was derived from). Most notable for being a research institution, Korea University is considered as the first private higher education institution to be established in South Korea.
Ok Taecyeon
Taecyeon is known as a member of the South Korean boy group 2PM, but he also appeared in various dramas like Dream High, Wonderful Days, and Save Me. According to Soompi, he initially attended Dankook University where he graduated with a degree in Business Administration before getting accepted into the prestigious school's graduate program.
Sungkyunkwan University
Sungkyunkwan University is the oldest university in South Korea, established way back by the Joseon Dynasty. It has an existing partnership with tech conglomerate Samsung who funds several of the university's important initiatives.
Song Joong Ki
Song Joong Ki attended the university in 2005 and graduated with a degree in Business Administration. In 2010, he coincidentally starred in a drama called Sungkyunkwan Scandal where he played a character who also graduated from the premier school.
Kyung Hee University
Kyung Hee University is among the top universities in Asia. It is also widely known in South Korea as one of the leading institutions in the field of medicine.
Gong Yoo
The Goblin and Coffee Prince star took up Theater at the prestigious school. In an interview with CNN, Gong Yoo admitted that he did not originally plan to pursue acting despite taking a course related to it.
Kim Tae Ri
Kim Tae Ri starred in the drama Mr. Sunshine, but she's also widely known for films like The Handmaiden and Little Forest. She graduated from the school with a degree in Mass Communication.
Hanyang University
Hanyang University is also among the leading educational insitutions in South Korea. It is the first insitute for architecture and civil engineering to be established in the country.
Kim So Hyun
Kim So Hyun starred in various TV series like Moon Embracing the Sun and The Tale of Nokdu. The Hallyu star attended Hanyang's Department of Theater and Film in 2018.
Jung Da Bin
Jung Da Bin is a 20-year-old actress who's appeared in several dramas at a young age, including She Was Pretty. You'll probably know her from the Netflix K-drama Extracurricular. She also got accepted to the school's Department of Theater and Film.
