With over ten years' worth of acting credits under her belt, it's easy to fall into Jung So Min's orbit. Her body of work is filled with bubbly rom-com bits and other lighthearted portrayals, which probably made her role in Alchemy of Souls, a historical-fantasy K-drama currently streaming on Netflix, a pleasant surprise for many. In it, she plays Mu Deok-yi, a skilled fighter who's trapped in the body of a feeble commoner. Her performance on the show so far has had everyone's eyes glued on their screens; so much so, that there was immediate uproar when news broke out that she might be getting replaced come the second part of the drama.

With his good looks and impeccable intelligence, Baek Seung-jo (Kim Hyun Joong) is every high schooler's dream boy. One lass who's absolutely smitten by him is Oh Ha-ni (So Min), who, one day, mustered up the courage to confess her feelings for him. The star student doesn't reciprocate the gesture though, and leaves her brokenhearted. As fate would have it, their families somehow end up living under one roof, and Seung-jo finds himself eventually warming up to Ha-ni.

2. Big Man (2014)

Kang Ji-hwan's (Kim Ji Hyuk) life turns around when he's tricked into believing that he's the long-lost son and heir of the Hyunsung Group. He's treated poorly after his "family" takes advantage of him, and he wants nothing more than to seek revenge somehow. Along the way, he encounters So Mi-ra (Lee Da Hee) and Kang Jin-ah (So Min), two women involved in the company who form a love triangle with him.

5. The Smile Has Left Your Eyes (2018)

While he seems mysterious and almost threatening at first, Kim Moo-young (Seo In Guk) is simply carrying the burden of a traumatizing childhood. He meets and falls in love with Yoon Jin-kang (So Min), who, unbeknown to him, actually shares similar experiences with his past.
