These newlyweds just gave all the camera-shy couples out there the perfect idea.

Highschool best friends-turned-lovers June and July, owners of the eponymous homeware store, celebrated their one-month wedding anniversary a few weeks ago. As they did so, photos of their prenup shoot went viral online for its ironic yet unique concept, now commonly known on the internet as a “No-Face Reveal”.

ICYMI, the images, shot by Mico Gonzales, exude an intriguing air of mystery as the pair’s faces are never really shown, stirring the curiosity of onlookers.

The bride, June, told Preview the theme was influenced by the photos they usually take for their online shop. The two advertise their products on Instagram by showing how they use them in their day-to-day lives. June and July’s own faces remain hidden of course, keeping the home pieces front and center.

The low-key and private pair shared how this “No-Face” theme came to also represent their own dynamic as a couple. June explained, “I’m an introvert and I’m also not used to having attention to myself, but July’s always the one taking photos of me/us and wanting to share it with everyone. So eventually, June & July [Home] became the compromise of who we are.”

She continued, “When we were planning our wedding, we thought we’d do something different that’s still ‘us.’ We do have a few photos with our faces but of course, we just want to keep them to ourselves na lang din. For memories!”

With the rise of unconventional prenuptial photos trending all over social media, we asked June if this is something she’d recommend to other couples. She told Preview and its readers to simply go for it, further explaining, “Since prenuptial photos are supposed to be something that you [the married couple] would both want to look back on, it can also be something that can showcase both your personalities together as a couple.”

June and July kept their “No-Face” concept even throughout their wedding day. Luckily, their photographers from ProudRad also found a way to make it work, while allowing the pair to keep things natural during their special moment.
