In the series, the rookie lawyer seems to frequently let his frustrations over Woo Young-woo (played by Park Eun Bin) get the best of him, going on tirades and trying to bring her down. Jong Hyuk was born on July 27, 1991 in South Korea.
2. Joo Jong Hyuk didn't originally plan on becoming an actor.
In the middle of his tween years, Jong Hyuk flew to New Zealand to complete his studies, eventually graduating from the Auckland University of Technology with a degree in Hotel Management and Marketing. When he turned 21, he went back home to Korea to enlist for the military and worked as a bartender after getting discharged. In an interview, he revealed that some of his customers suggested he make promotional videos for his job, which led him to seeking a career in front of the camera.
3. Joo Jong Hyuk is handled by BH Entertainment.
Since 2020, Jong Hyuk has been in the company of some of Hallyu land's biggest stars in BH Entertainment. Aside from him, the talent agency also manages Kim Go Eun, Lee Byung Hun, Park Hae Soo, and more.
4. Joo Jong Hyuk started out playing small roles in dramas.
Jong Hyuk made his on-screen debut playing a small one-episode role on the coming-of-age series My ID Is Gangnam Beauty, which starred Lim Soo Hyang and Cha Eun Woo. This was followed by another bit character in Clean with Passion for Now, a JTBC drama that aired from 2018 to 2019.

6. Joo Jong Hyuk played Ahn Bo Hyun's best friend in Yumi's Cells.
One of the rookie actor's most memorable projects to date was his supporting role in the webtoon-based rom-com Yumi's Cells. In it, he played Louis, a workaholic game developer who was best friends with Goo Woong, who was then played by Itaewon Class and My Name star Ahn Bo Hyun. Even now that the show's two-season run has concluded, Jong Hyuk and Bo Hyun remain close buddies.
