Jodi Sta. Maria continues to prove that age is but a number.
The actress turned 40 last June 16, and to celebrate the milestone, she flew off to Europe with her son, Thirdy, for a well-deserved vacation.
On her birthday, she posted a photo of herself in Prague, accompanied by an inspiring message in the caption. She calls reaching 40 the “mid-point” of her life, and while most people dream of achieving all their goals at a younger age, Jodi has learned that this doesn’t have to be the case and that we don’t have to put that much pressure on growing up.
“So far it’s been a great year for me. And as I cross the mid-point of my life, it’s grounded me in new ways,” she wrote. “Had to learn and unlearn certain things. Love and let go of situations and people. Ignore noises and live a life that’s empowering to me. Stay calm and realize it’s okay not to have everything figured out. Consciously remind myself to be grateful in every situation and cast my cares on the Lord. Thank You Lord for the gift of life.”

Of course, the Broken Marriage Vow star is always one to walk the talk. Last June 2021, Jodi earned her psychology degree from Southville International School and Colleges at the age of 39!
“Success comes to those who want it,” she captioned her IG post. “And sometimes you have to ask yourself ‘how much do I want this?’” According to Jodi, she’d always aspired to finish college ever since she entered show business, and her recent achievement is definitely proof that our dreams need not have any deadlines.
ICYMI the first time, she ended her graduation post with a similarly uplifting reminder: “Remember, it is never too late, and you are never too old to reach your stars.”
