Jessy Mendiola is officially 31 and thriving! The celebrity mom just celebrated her 31st birthday yesterday, and she marked the event with a sultry photoshoot.

Lensed by Andrea Beldua, the photos showed Jessy posing confidently in various ab-baring OOTDs. For the main layout of the pictorial, Jessy stunned in a cheeky white bikini and a sheer cover-up that flaunted her physique.

Of course, many of her fans and celebrity friends showered her with heartfelt compliments in the comments section and greeted her a happy birthday. "Ang ganda naman Mrs. Manzano," her husband Luis Manzano wrote.

Despite the many positive comments, however, Jessy still received mean remarks from rude Instagram users. One particular netizen shamed her for showing some skin, claiming it's not how a mother should behave. The netizen wrote, "Dina bagay sayo ganyan may peanut kana.. Masagwa tingnan." (Peanut is the nickname of Luis and Jessy's infant daughter, Isabella Rose.)

It wasn't long before Jessy took notice of the disrespectful comment. Giving the basher a much-needed lesson in body-shaming, she responded, "So kapag may anak bawal na maging comfortable sa sariling katawan? Stop mom/parent shaming."

"It's because of people like you kaya nahihiya mga ibang nanay maging comfortable at confident sa sarili nila. Just live and let live. Hindi ka naman inaagrabyado," she added. Later on, she also shared a screenshot of the comment on her Instagram story to stress her point further.

"Us moms are allowed to be confident in our own skin. Let us be," she wrote. "We can be comfortable with ourselves and be a mom, too. Isa lang sa roles namin ang pagiging nanay." No wonder the basher was left speechless after that smart comeback!
